Here's to a Creative Life

As having my own kids is certainly not in my near future I am blessed with having everyone around me having their own.  I found not only is it great having these friends because they almost are a new kind of birth control for me 😉  but I get to make so much great stuff.  I’m still human, any thing baby sized is basically adorable!  I made this quilt for our friend who had a beautiful baby boy.  It was such a fun quilt to make and actually pretty easy.  I think it turned out great and I hope the family can enjoy their baby and baby quilt!  I read the tutorial on one of my favorite sites to keep up with, Moda Bake Shop.

Have a look see, I would love to know what you think!

Others peoples kids are the best birth control for sure! lol.
At first glance of the quilt I actually read Eat, Pray, Love which is the book and film with julia Roberts, which obviously would be appropriate for children. your version is so much better!

Nice quilt and post. take care Alan.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again- I love this quilt!!! You did a fantastic job on it. Thanks for the link to the tutorial. It’s the first time I’ve really read about binding and now I think I understand it. I would love to make one like this, someday in the future. I’m signed up for an intro to quilting class in February so I can get all the basics down, rather than just figuring it out and throwing blankets together… Keep the posts coming! ❤
